Carrot Weather has introduced a new chatbot feature based in ChatGPT 3.0 in its latest version 5.10 update. The chatbot is based on the GPT language model and allows users to chat directly with the app’s irreverent personality using as much profanity as they can stand. The chatbot is designed to be snarky and antagonizing, and it can berate users directly. The feature is rolling out globally this week on iOS devices.
GPT stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer, which is a type of language model that uses deep learning to generate human-like, conversational text. GPT models are known for producing human-like text in numerous situations. GPT-4 is a multimodal large language model created by OpenAI and the fourth in its GPT series. The language model has since seen countless integrations across industries spanning from health tech to coding.
