Luxury watch brand Richard Mille launched a luxury sports-themed watch called the RM 07-04 Automatic Sport, inspired by influential athletes’ experiences. This collection consists of six watches that are designed with the female athlete target demographic in mind. The watch collection is inspired and now worn by six women athletes, including Aurora Straus, Margot Laffite, Nelly Korda, Nafi Thiam, Yuliya Levchenko, and Ester Ledecká.
The RM 07-04 Automatic Sport took three years to develop because of the many challenges involved in creating a new, very compact, skeletonized in-house automatic movement system. This watch guarantees high shock resistance, and integrates the exterior perfectly into the movement. The collection features different colorways for each watch in reflection of each woman athlete. Regarding durability, the watch is made of Grade 5 Titanium, which is highly corrosion-resistant.
