Trader Joe’s is making it easier than ever to whip up a restaurant-quality seafood dish in the comfort of your own home with its new Salmon Rub Seasoning Blend.
Just as the name suggests, the new Salmon Rub Seasoning Blend is a blend of spices and seasonings that’s meant to pair perfectly with a buttery salmon fillet. The blend starts with a base of brown sugar, which is then punched up with smoked paprika, dried thyme, kosher salt, and black pepper. To use the spice mix, simply brush your fillet with olive oil and then add a generous sprinkle of the seasoning blend. Trader Joe’s explains that as your fish is cooked, “the Rub forms a sweet, savory, herby, and delicately smoky crust that also adds a nice pop of texture to every bite.”
