Luxury watchmaker L’Epée unveils its new L’Epée 1839 timepiece that is designed to look like an intricate grenade and functions as a traditional desk clock. According to the brand, the clock is inspired by the historical MKII grenade that was prominent during World War II. It measures 5 inches tall and boasts unique aesthetics throughout the entire design.
It boasts a vertical movement and has two black tonal rotating disks on the top — one of which displays the hours and the other showcases the minutes that pass by. As an additional touch, there is a pin that nods to its safety pin to set the time or wind the movement to an eight-day time cycle.
